Fishing Reports

11/06/2019

We saw lots of fish today and there were lots of birds around.  We didn’t have to go far and every stop we made, there were fish splashing on the surface.  Even though we saw them splashing right along side of the boat while we were drifting, they were hard to catch.  You really had to work at it.  We did catch a few STRIPERS mostly on jigs and a couple on swim shads.

We will be back out there just as the sun comes up tomorrow morning on our Early Departure Striper trip.  The boat leaves at 6AM!  Prepay online and make sure you get to the boat at least a half hour before departure.

There was lots of bird life, lots of bait, lots of fish readings and plenty of STRIPERS swirling on top today but getting them to bite was tough.  We tried many places but they didn’t want to chew.  We managed to get some BIG STRIPERS and some medium STRIPERS.

We will be back at it again tomorrow.

See you in the morning.

Since the storms, fishing is getting better every day.  We had some STRIPERS and throw back FLUKE today.  We saw plenty of STRIPERS rolling on the surface everywhere we went along with lots of birds but we couldn’t get them to bite like we wanted them to. Most everything was on jigs with some on shads.

OUR EARLY DEPARTURE STRIPER TRIP LEAVES TOMORROW MORNING AT 6 AM.  Make your reservations and prepay online. GET TO THE BOAT AT LEAST A HALF HOUR BEFORE DEPARTURE.

Let’s beat the boat traffic and get to the STRIPERS as the sun comes up.

See you in the morning.

It was a tough day with the Stripers for everyone today. Bird life was okay and every now and then the fish would come up to the top and swirl around a little bit but with all the boats out there, they would run them over and then we couldn’t catch them. We did have a Thresher Shark and a few Dogfish.

The weather continues to look nice for the next few days so we will be right back out there tomorrow morning.

See you then.

Folks, with the clocks being turned back this coming weekend the sun will start to rise earlier and the STRIPERS really like to start to bite at sun up and the boat traffic is usually lighter earlier in the morning. So we are going to try to take advantage of that with -

6:00AM DEPARTURES EVERY TUESDAY & THURSDAY IN NOVEMBER - THE BOAT WILL BE LIMITED - MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS & PURCHASE TICKETS ONLINE

We saw plenty of fish today splashing and swirling around on top with birds flying above but they were hard to catch.  We had some fish but we needed more. We caught mostly keeper STRIPERS and a couple shorts.  We also had some ALBACORE.

We will not be sailing tomorrow, Thursday, due to the weather.

10/28/2019

The fish did not want to bite today and it could have been because of all the rain and wind we had yesterday.  We will be right back at it tomorrow.  See you in the morning.

10/26/2019

We had some STRIPERS early today and then the bite slowed. The largest fish was about 48 lbs. and everything was on jigs.

We saw a lot of fish out there so after this weather blows through tomorrow, we will be back at it on Monday.

10/25/2019

We had some fish today but it was really difficult to get them to bite. There was so much boat traffic out there and that could have been the problem. We could see the fish and get on top of them but they would swim away to where there were no boats.

The weather for tomorrow looks great and the fish are out there so we will be back at it in the morning.

10/24/2019

We caught some BIG STRIPED BASS today with the largest one about 44”. We saw lots of fish with the birds flying around and the fish would come up to the top and we would see a lot of splashing. The ones that we caught were all decent size fish. We were in close to the inlet so there was plenty of fishing time and we even went into overtime trying to catch a few extra fish.

Everything was on diamond jigs with the most popular today being the AVA 47 with the green tail and if you want to fish lighter, you can go with the AVA 27 with the green tail. We have everything you need on the boat.

It was a beautiful day on the ocean today. It was flat calm and just the right temperature and tomorrow looks just as nice.

STRIPER season is here and there are lots of fish out there so now is the time to come on down.

See you in the morning.
