Capt Greg, I wish to thank you for a very enjoyable night bluefish trip. I am disabled & your boat is the only boat willing to take a wheelchair person. Not only did you take me, but the crew was extremely attentive to me, which I truly appreciate. In addition to taking care of me they also did not forget the other passengers. before i became disabled, I was a regular on another boat in Point Pleasant. Capt. Hank, a veteran of untold trips to the canyons feels that crew coordination & teamwork are what puts more fish into the boat…they carry two to three more mates than most party boats just to ensure that all fishermen are coached through the fighting and landing of all fish hooked…all fishermen are given a 20 minute instruction session…Hank’s crew demonstrates, with three to four lines, how to duck under or over moving around the rail chasing a fish…the mate will remain with the angler till the fish is boated giving encouragement. | |

Our boat wasn’t in the water yet…Seeing the GOLDEN EAGLE ad in the Fisherman I knew that was the boat for me. Thinking about the last few times we were on party boats I wondered if it was such a good idea. Nevertheless, we decided to go and I’m sure glad we did. | |

The mates asked if they could help with our gear…I found myself tangled and almost instantly the mate was there to straighten out the mess…never mad, always smiling…How pleasant to get that extra sleep & have breakfast & lunch served cheerfully, right on board… | |

The captain kept us totally informed with tips through the day…I’ve been on trips that I’ve never even known if the captain was on board!…The mate filleted our fish & even hosed down our cooler!!…A first on any boat I was ever on…From beginning to end, a great trip…Thank you for the most pleasant party boat trip I have ever experienced. | |
